Overview

Nestled in Uttarakhand, the Chopta, Tungnath, and Deoriatal trek is a captivating blend of spirituality and natural splendor, often called “Mini Switzerland.” Chopta, at 2,679 meters, offers serene Himalayan views, serving as the trek’s base.
The journey ascends to Tungnath Temple, the world’s highest Shiva shrine at 3,680 meters, steeped in ancient Mahabharata legends and spiritual aura. Adventurous trekkers can further climb to Chandrashila Peak (3,700 meters) for a 360-degree panorama of Himalayan giants, including Nanda Devi.  


Descending, Deoriatal Lake reflects surrounding peaks, imbued with Pandava folklore. 1 This trek, accessible year-round, showcases diverse seasonal beauty, from lush summers to snowy winters. Encounters with Himalayan wildlife enhance the experience. With its moderate difficulty and spiritual significance, this trek offers an unforgettable adventure for all.

INCLUSIONS

Transportation from Delhi to Delhi: Tempo Traveler/Cab
2 Nights Accommodation on Sharing Basis: Swiss Camps/Homestay.
Experienced and cool Trip Captain/Trek Guide.
Bonfire (if weather permits) during the stay and local explorations as per itinerary.
6 Veg Meals: Dinner (2), Breakfast (2) and Evening Snacks (2), starting from Evening Snacks on Day 1 to Breakfast on Day 3.

Any extra meals and stay arrangements apart from the ones mentioned under inclusions as per the itinerary.
Travel Insurance, items of a personal nature like porterage, tips, laundry etc.
Cost of snow-chained or 4*4 Vehicle if needed due to heavy snowfall.
Any entry fees, extra expenses for optional activities or tickets, unless quoted in Inclusions.
Paragliding in Bir, GoPro video shots taken during the paragliding session and paragliding insurance
Any other costing involved due to circumstances like natural calamity, weather conditions, riots, roadblocks, landslides or any other forced circumstances which are out of our control.

Itinerary





Day 0 -Delhi to Chopta
Overnight Journey: – Assemble at boarding point in Delhi – Akshardham Metro Station and meet your Trip Captain. – Start an overnight journey to Chopta and socialize with your co-travellers.

Day 1 – Chopta Arrival

Enroute Chopta, we will take a pit stop at Devprayag in early morning to witness the beautiful confluence of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda rivers ultimately becoming Ganga river. – Further we will take a halt around Rudraprayag to grab a satisfying breakfast and continue our journey towards Chopta. – After arriving in Chopta Valley, check-in to our campsite/homestay, freshen-up and have some leisure. – Go for a forest walk and absorb in the charming Himalayan beauty. – In the evening, enjoy warm bonfire and mouth-watering snacks under a million stars. – Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in camps/homestay.

Day 2 – Trek to Chandrashila via Tungnath Mahadev Temple
Wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise and post breakfast, drive to the starting point of our trek. – Begin your trek to Tungnath – one of the Panch Kedar and World’s highest temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. – Trek further to magnificent Chandrashila Peak situated at 13,000 ft (if weather & conditions permits) and gather for an #InstaPerfect group picture. – Trek back to Chopta village and drive back to our property and have some leisure. – Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a camps/homestay.

Day 3 – Trek to Dioriatal | Depart for Delhi via Rishikesh
 Wake up to a peaceful mountain morning and post breakfast, check out from the property and drive to Sari Village. – Begin your trek to mesmerising Deoriatal Lake. Trek down to Sari village and post lunch start-off your return journey to Delhi. – Take a halt at Rishikesh in the night to explore the local market, go for cafe hopping, visit temples and serene Ganga ghats (if time permits).

Day 4 – Delhi arrival | Trip ends
 Reach Delhi early morning with lots of amazing memories and unforgettable experiences.

Things to Pack:



Good quality rucksack (preferably 40-60 liters) & a small day bag pack (for hikes/treks purpose) with rain-cover is recommended, easy to carry trolley bag
A pair of shoes (mainly trekking/sports) with good grip & waterproof, atleast 2 pairs of socks & floaters/sandals/slippers
Heavy down jacket, light fleece, long track/cargo pants, long/short sleeves T-shirts, body thermal wears (as per season), sun cap/hat, woolen cap & gloves (as per season), hoodie, raincoats/ponchos
Personal care items like cold cream & moisturiser, sunscreen (preferably SPF40), lip balm, sanitary pads, toothpaste & other toiletries, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, insect repellent, body spray
Personal medication (as prescribed by the doctor) & first-aid, sprain relief spray, glucose powder, tablets for headache, fever, diarrhea, motion sickness, dettol & cotton/bandages
Personal documents & ID’s like aadhar card, drivers license, passport or any other valid Government ID proofs

Is it safe for solo female traveller to join a group trip consisting of strangers?

We salute the spirit of solo female travelling and thus we make sure to provide an absolutely safe environment while hosting them on our trips. From our experienced trip captains, verified hosts to transport vendors, everybody working with us are trusted folks and easily reachable to raise any kind of safety complaints during an ongoing trip. We always work hard to resolve the problem at the earliest.

Once I book a trip, how will I receive the confirmation of the payment?
Firstly, your payments are absolutely secure. Once we receive the payment, we send you a payment receipt/booking confirmation mail of the same within 24 hours of paying the amount. You need to share the screenshot of the payment with your respective sales team representative and he/she will further communicate with the finance department.

What if the trip I booked gets cancelled? What is the refund policy?
There are numerous factors due to which your trip booking gets cancelled or modified. In this case, we provide you the best possible resolution or a credit note valid for a year of the same amount. In case the traveller cancels the trip from his/her end, the booking amount is non-refundable ever.
